Apple Introduced Find My Friends As A Social Network For iOS 5

Apple announced to launch a social network named as Find My Friends to run on iOS 5 at its Let’s Talk Event when it announced iOS 5 and iPhone 4S with much more other things. Now, the Find My Friends network is finally launched with the release of iOS 5 and soon the iPhone 4S will also be available in the market. Well, let’s have a brief discussion about the Find My Friends. It is social-networking app in nature that let you track your friends and allow you to get informed about the location wherever your friends are, and you can also share your location with them. The network uses Maps, GPS and contacts app integrated in iOS 5 to perform its function.

All that you require to use this app is to add friends to the address book as contacts. Now, you can easily share your location, any specific route or place wherever you are or can track of your friend’s location also. The app provides its users with a very convenient interface.

The Find My Friends provides you with the time limit you can set as the period you want to make sharing with your friends. You can set the time for some hours, days or weeks, and after the time gets over the app will automatically stop sharing working. The app does not disturb your privacy as you have an option to accept ot reject the friend request sent to you by your buddies to share with you. Apple has added parental control for parents to restrict access to certain locations settings.
