Here, we are going to give you the comparison between the iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy Nexus based on benchmarks representing the performance of both the smartphones. The performance analysis and related graphs are posted by the AnandTech after making few Benchmark tests for some on some top devices in the market. It is not like that manufacturer has used the better hardware in Galaxy Nexus, rather it is the first smartphone came with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). We are making a comparison between two top smartphone, Nexus and iPhone 4S on different perspective of benchmarks as follows:
SunSpider Javascript Benchmark: As you can see in the above given graph, in the test made on the Javascrpting benchmark, it is quite clear that Google Nexus beats iPhone 4S as there is a big difference between the performance of both devices.
Rightware BrowserMark: Again, Galaxy Nexus wins the game by beating all other smartphones including iPhone 4S when it comes to the performance of Web Browsing, as per the analysis the Galaxy Nexus is faster than the iPhone 4S, indeed it is placed at the top in the list.
GLBenchmark 2.1 – Egypt Offscreen: When it comes to GPU performance, Google Galaxy Nexus is left behind the iPhone 4S, in fact, it is far away. However, in this field, the top device is the iPad 2 but when only iPhone 4S and Google Galaxy Nexus are compared, it is iPhone 4S winning the trophy.
GLBenchmark 2.1 – Pro Offscreen: Same as above, here also the iPhone 4S far ahead from the Galaxy Nexus as you can see in the above graph showing the better performance of iPhone 4S than the Nexus.
From the above comparison, the conclusion, we can drive is that Galaxy Nexus beats the iPhone 4S when their Javascript performance and web browsing speed is compared. However, when it comes to GLBenchmark, with the FPS of both, on this basis, iPhone 4S still wins the market of smartphones.
