iPhone Dev team has just released an updated Redsn0w to jailbreak iOS 6, which is currently available only to the developers. The tool released is not for general users as it does not install Cydia, which is not yet compatible with iOS 6. So, before downloading the iOS 6 jailbreak tool from the links given at the end of this post you must go through the following warnings published by the Dev Team.
The Redsn0w iOS 6 Jailbreak released only for Cydia apps developers as the tool has many broken parts and is intended to help developers who are seeking to fix bugs in their iOS 6 Cydia apps. Even after jailbreaking the device you will not be able to run Cydia as the Dev team has not yet updated the store for iOS 6.
The Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1 is for developers only and therefore, will not hactivate! The tool is tethered jailbreak and is based on limera1n exploit from Geohot.
Note: If you are relying on Ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone, then, please stay away from iOS 6 as you will lose the unlockable baseband making it impossible for software based unlock.
