Verizon’s CFO comment has confirmed that the new iPhone 5 is a world phone, so if you bought a new iPhone 5 from Verizon then you can also use it on AT&T. So, the iPhone 5 jailbreak and unlock is now going to get more attractive venture for hackers and developers.
However, the iPhone 5 is not coming before September as the recent problems in Japan is causing some serious hardware shortages and against Apple’s traditional, the new iPhone is not coming this Summer.
