A report says that Apple has added latest iPhone and iPod touch to the internal inventory system. There are 5 products added to the Apple’ inventory, three of those shown products are latest models of iPod touch, and rest two are the new iPhone models. The unveiled iPod touch are coded with SKU N81A and the previous iPod touch 4 generation model is coded as N81. Thus, the new code might represent the white models of iPod touch rumored to be launched few weeks ago. The code also includes “SKU” used by Apple so that the model can be identified instantly from its large inventory.
“Three new iPod touch models have appeared in the system with the codename N81A. N81 is the codename for the fourth-generation black iPod touch, so the A likely represents the string of the three new white models.”
“The new device’s codename is N90A, and this represents very minor changes from the iPhone 4 – which is the N90. In fact, this may be an iPhone 4 – an 8GB version as previously rumored. It is very possible that the two SKUs mean black and white models, but that is unconfirmed. We don’t think Apple’s next-generation iPhone – coming next week- would be labeled as an N90A – as it includes major internal hardware upgrades that would typically constitute a new codename.”
As per the reports, we can drive a conclusion that there is white iPod touch with minor changes as compare to the iPod touch 4 generation that is available in black color. Another is the new iPhone 4s which is also a slightly changed device if compared to the iPhone 4. So there might be two iPhones going to be launched, one as a new iPhone, and another as the next-generation iPhone. The reports seem to be true, because strong rumors have been in the market about white iPod touch and new iPhone 4s.
The Apple as speculated previously is going to hold a media event on October 4 to disclose all the hidden information and to put a full stop to the daily production of rumors.
