As you know, few weeks back, Google launched its anticipated app named as Gmail, however, instantly pulled it back due to various issues and bugs. And again, made available after making required fixing and improvements. Well, here, the news is not Gmail app, rather we have something latest. Google launched one more latest app named as “Sent” which is indeed a complete native iOS app rather than an ultimate Google problem solving app.
The app has the following features as posted by the App store via App description:
Features:
- Fast
- Conversation view
- Gmail search (e.g. “before:2011/10/01 in:important has:attachment”)
- Stars and labels
- Attach photos
- Support multiple accounts
The app is designed to let you access your Gmail account instantly and to perform your required activities. However, it seems like app is far away from its main objective and has two considerable issues as follows:
- The Sent does not support push notifications.
- The app is week in terms of security as let anybody easily open your account as you are required to enter the private information into the app and it does not take you to the authenticated web Google main page.
If above two, issues do not seem to you to be a big deal, and you feel that you require this app, you can download it right from the app store available for $4.99, which is a high amount to spend on such an app. However, we would recommend you to wait and download the Sent later as the app has the great potential and soon will be available with fixed issues it has at present.
