Apple announced its third-gen iPad in the even held at San Francisco this morning. The new iPad features 4G LTE support. The iPad 3 will be available in three models featuring 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. Moreover, there will be Wi-Fi + 4G + 3G models. As per the memory supported, these models will be available from the price range of $499 to $829. The major change that you may notice, which actually makes this new iPad the third-generation iPad is the inclusion of 5 mega pixel camera. Another top feature which was in the rumors since beginning is the 2048 x 1536 Retina Display and 9.7 inches screen.
Now, let’s have a look on its processor. Apple has designed this new iPad with Quadcore A5X processor making it faster than its predecessor and even than the competitive tablets. The new iPad will be running on the latest and upgraded iOS which is iOS 5.1.
