Earlier, we told you that Samsung is just going to launch its next handset to enhance the Galaxy S series. The upcoming top smartphone is the Samusng Galaxy S 3, the successor of existing Samsung Galaxy S 2. There have been a plethora of reports on this upcoming Galaxy S 3, the latest one which reveals its design has recently received which says that Samsung Galaxy S 3 will have a slimmer body as compare to the Galaxy S 2 as it will be only 7 mm thick device. Moreover, Samsung is to launch this new smartphone in the May this year.
The report is directly coming from a source known as SlashGear, a website which covers the improtant news about consumer electronics and technologies. It says via its blog on upcoming Samsung Galaxy S 3:
Samsung’s Galaxy S III could launch as early as May 2012 and be just 7mm thick, according to South Korean sources, with the quadcore Android 4.0 smartphone testing all its creator’s manufacturing expertise.
The Samsung Galaxy S 2 has a 8.49 mm thick body, and new and upcoming Galaxy S 3 is to feature slimmer body which measures only 7 mm thick body. Other than that, the Galaxy S 3 also expected to feature an 8 MP camera as its rear camera along with a 2 MP camera as the front facing camera.
Samsung is to bring two new Galaxy S series model, one as the well-known Samsung Galaxy S 3 as the successor of Galaxy S 2 and another as Samsung Galaxy S Advance as another model to target the mid-range market.
